Soot Damage to Garage and Single-Family Home

SERVPRO technicians arrived onsite to start packing out the contents of this garage and house to be taken back to SERVPRO's warehouse, for contents cleaning. Since there was only soot damage located inside of the house and an asbestos test had to be done on the garage before demo, we immediately started cleaning the bottom floor first, making sure to get every nook and cranny, before moving up to the second floor. The team knew this fire had displaced this family from their home, so making this event “Like it never even happened” in the most timely matter, was of utmost importance. After technicians finished demo in the garage, they power washed the floor, and sprayed all the rafters and exposed wood with a coat of anti-microbial sealant/primer.
