Leaky Ceiling Pipe Cause Water Damage

This flooded commercial property in Miami Beach was the result of a leaky ceiling pipe.  Water saturated the wall, cement, baseboard and carpet area of the room on the other side of the wall.  The after picture was taken a few days after the baseboard was removed and air holes were made for proper air circulation.  To remove water retained by building materials and other hard-to-access moisture, our SERVPRO of Miami Beach crew used specialized equipment, including industrial air movers and dehumidifiers while carefully monitoring the progress through using moisture meters until the materials return to acceptable drying goals.
